This policy details the cookies and trackers used by Prospectra, in accordance with recital 30 and article 5.3 of the « ePrivacy » directive (2002/58/EC as amended by directive 2009/136/EC), transposed into French law at article 82 of the French Data Protection Act, and with French CNIL deliberation no. 2020-091 of 17 September 2020.
1. Principle
Prospectra has chosen to deposit only cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the service. No advertising cookies, no non-exempt audience measurement cookies, no profiling cookies and no social network cookies are deposited.
Accordingly, and in line with article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and CNIL doctrine (deliberation 2020-091), no prior consent is required for the deposit of these cookies, as they are indispensable for the provision of the service expressly requested by the user.
2. List of cookies used
| Name | Issuer | Purpose | Retention | Exemption basis (CNIL 2020-091) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Authentication session cookie | Identify the logged-in user between two HTTP requests. Without this cookie, the user would be logged out at every page. | Session duration (browser close or after a period of inactivity). | Cookie strictly necessary to the provision of an online communication service expressly requested by the user. | |
| CSRF protection cookie | Anti-request-forgery token (Cross-Site Request Forgery) protecting forms and sensitive actions against attacks by third-party sites. | Session duration. | Security cookie strictly necessary to protect the service against fraud. |
No other cookie or tracker (pixel, web beacon, fingerprinting, local storage for tracking purposes) is deposited by Prospectra.
3. Audience measurement
At the date of this policy, Prospectra deploys no audience measurement tool requiring the deposit of cookies. Should such a solution be deployed in the future, it would be done in accordance with applicable CNIL requirements:
- either under the exemption provided for audience measurement tools strictly limited to the publisher, whose purpose is limited to measuring traffic without cross-referencing with other processing or transmission to third parties (self-hosted, cookie-less tools are preferred for this reason);
- or, failing that, after obtaining prior explicit consent via an information banner compliant with CNIL deliberation no. 2020-091.
Any change will be announced by an update of this policy and, if applicable, by the display of a consent banner.
4. Third-party cookies
Prospectra loads no third-party resource likely to deposit a cookie on your device when browsing its public pages (/legal/ pages, /help/ pages, login page). Fonts, scripts and stylesheets needed are served from the main domain .
The internal pages of the service, reserved for authenticated users, may occasionally load resources from third-party providers strictly necessary for the operation (for instance, AI providers for assistance features, or SMTP relay providers configured by the user). These resources are triggered by explicit user actions (click on « generate », sending a message) and not by mere page load.
5. Managing cookies
Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled without rendering the service unusable (impossible to log in, weakened security).
You may however, at any time:
- view and delete cookies via your browser's settings (« privacy » / « security » / « browsing data » sections);
- configure your browser to block or warn about cookie deposit. In that case, connection to Prospectra will not be possible.
